This is la Conchita, the virgin Mary and a platter of candied apples. Look up La purisima to find out more. It is one of the biggest holidays in Nicaragua, religious of course.

The Beautiful Miss Clare!
19 12 2012We found an amazing (though expensive!) restaurant in Granada, right on the square where Captain Morgan, the infamous pirate, set up 18 cannons in the 1700s, during one of the three times that Granada was sacked.
